Nehéz elhinni, hogy az elmúlt évben szinte alig lehetett utazni, igy utoljára tavaly januárban írtam ide a blogra. De most, hogy Ománban javult a helyzet, végre legalább az országon belül ismét kirándultunk egy külföldi kollégával.
It is hard to believe that in the last year it was almost impossible to travel, so the last time I wrote a blog post was last January. But now, that the situation has got better inOman, we finally went on an excursion with a foreign colleague.

Eleget téve a munkahelyi szabályozásnak, mely szerint január végéig el kell használni a tavalyról megmaradt szabadságokat, kihasználtam kollégáim meghívását és átugrottam pár napra Bangkokba.
Complying with the regulations of my employer, according to which the days off from last year had to be taken by the end of January, I took advantage of my colleagues’ invitation and popped over to Bangkok for a few days.

A fűszerszigetet és Freddie Mercury szülőhelye volt kelet-afrikai utunk utolsó állomása, többek közt azon nem titkolt célból is, hogy egy kis nyaralással záruljon a nagy kaland.
The Spice Island and the birthplace of Freddie Mercury was our last destination in our East-African tour, for the honest reason, among others, of ending our adventure with a brief holiday.

Kenyát kifejezetten a szafarizás miatt illesztettük az útvonalba, és kedves barátaim javaslatára az Amboseli nemzeti parkot választottuk, mert onnan látszik/látszódhat a Kilimandzsáró.
We specifically included Kenya in the itinerary for visiting a safari park, and to the suggestion of my dear friends, we picked Amboseli National Park, because from there the Kilimanjaro can/could be visible.
